“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” Those lyrics usually evoke thoughts of Christmas trees, snowflakes, and Santa. But at Haunted Hill View Manor, it means something different. It means it’s time for our favorite event of the year…Kids Trick or Treat!
Sunday October 22nd, our halls were filled with ghosts and goblins, superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs, and more, as they haunted our building in search of goodies.
It’s an all day event that brings so much joy to everyone involved. It started at noon with a Kids tour and explore through Haunted Hill View Manor. The families enjoyed an escorted tour while learning about our rich history.
From 1-3pm, the trick or treaters invaded One North and the fun began!! Volunteers from all over sponsored rooms in our most haunted hallway. For a fee of $15, guests were assigned a room that they decorated themselves to hand out candy for our trick or treaters. These rooms were amazing! Two of our room hosts built a maze!
After Trick or Treat, we moved on to our Teen Ghost Hunt. From 4pm to 6pm, teens from 12-17 received an escorted tour through our building after which they were able to explore on their own while our staff assisted by demonstrating different paranormal equipment and investigating techniques.
To end this long, exciting day, a local high school hosted a Halloween Dance in our cafeteria! The decorations were on point, the costumes were spectacular, the music was banging…and the students were able to add on a tour through the building!!
The best part of this entire day? The proceeds were donated to Officer Tressler of Shenango Police Department and his K9 partner, Kalo. Our owner loves giving back and adding in all this fun makes it even better.
So, while we love Christmas, here at Haunted Hill View Manor, Trick or Treat Day is truly the most wonderful time of the year!!
