Building & Grounds Maintenance Worker Application

Position Type: Part-Time (approximately 1–3 visits per week)

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to maintain the building and general upkeep of our facility. This position involves routine inspections, light repairs, cleaning, and assistance with event preparations. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in keeping spaces safe, clean, and well cared for.

Responsibilities:

Inspect the building 1–3 times per week to ensure safety and upkeep
Clean restrooms weekly and hallways as needed
Remove debris, limbs, and weeds from the property
Check and clean roof drains, especially after heavy rain
Handle minor plumbing and electrical repairs
Monitor building security and report any issues
Assist with changing signage and parking support during events
Check for roof leaks or water intrusion
Empty and manage trash as needed
Serve as an emergency contact for alarms or maintenance issues

Qualifications:

Experience in general maintenance and custodial work
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and repair tools
Ability to work independently and follow a consistent schedule
Dependable, trustworthy, and attentive to detail
Must have reliable transportation and be reachable for occasional emergencies

Schedule & Compensation:

Flexible schedule with weekly building checks (typically 1–3 times per week)
Compensation based on experience
